No copies by default
The file is deleted as soon as the analysis ends. Every copy of an ID you don't keep is one you never have to protect.
Privacy
Check the document without keeping it.
By default we don't keep any copy. And if you need to keep something, you can store a redacted version, mask sensitive data and delete everything when someone asks.
Redacted copies
If you need proof, keep an image with the document number, the machine-readable zone, the signature and the photo blurred out.
Masked data
Keep only part of a document number, for example S12****67.
Deletion and access requests
Delete everything related to one person at once, or export their data when they ask to know what you hold, as the CCPA allows.

The default. You get the result and the file is gone.

The file deletes itself once the time you choose has passed, up to 30 days.

Retention per template and per account
Set how many days results are kept across your whole account or for a single template. After that, they're deleted without you having to do anything.
- Minimum dataWe extract only the fields your rules need. From an insurance card, the member and plan details, never medical information.
- Where your data livesOur servers and any data you choose to keep are hosted in the EU. The AI analysis runs on Cloudflare Workers AI, which doesn't keep documents or train on them.
- No biometricsNo face recognition and no biometric identifiers: document photos are not processed as biometric data.

What does Constaia see of my documents?
Only what it needs to analyze them. With the default option, the file is deleted as soon as we finish and no copy remains.
How do I handle a deletion request?
If you tag analyses with your own user ID, you can delete everything for that person at once, or export it when they ask to see their data.
Can I keep the redacted copy even if I delete the original?
Yes. That's exactly what it's for: keeping proof without the sensitive data.
